Monoprix wants to support innovative startups for local commerce by launching the "Monoprix Lab" platform.
To support innovative startups in the convenience retail sector, Monoprix is today launching a platform with La Retail Tech and the Hub Institute, enabling anyone to submit a technological solution.
Monoprix unveils the launch of the first season of its Lab, an entrepreneurial adventure in partnership with the Hub Institute and La Retail Tech. "Monoprix Lab is a retail innovation program. This initiative is part of Monoprix's ongoing commitment to exploring new opportunities to shape the future of retail.
"Monoprix Lab offers a structured framework to detect and support innovative startups by focusing on four key areas:
- operational efficiency in stores,
- improving the omnichannel experience,
- environmental efficiency.
- efficiency at head office,
Following on from "Monoprix Pépites", the call for projects launched in November 2023, in partnership with Ulule, to reward emerging French brands, Monoprix is thus reaffirming its commitment to responsible innovation and support for entrepreneurship. "Monoprix Lab" offers an exceptional opportunity for startups to play a key role in the evolution of the retail sector.
The schedule is designed to offer startups the opportunity to submit their applications and actively participate in this innovation program every six months.
- As of now: applications for the first 2024 session open via www.monoprixlab.com.
- Mid-March: pre-selection of 12 projects by La Retail Tech, the Hub Institute and Monoprix teams.
- End of March: pitch to a jury of internal and external experts.
- Personalized mentoring for the 3 finalist startups, per session, with election of the winner to set up a Proof of Concept, specific one-year support from Monoprix and one year's free membership of La Retail Tech.
