What AI-related services do the French expect in retail?
Every month, our partner OpinionWay poses flash questions to the French on a topical issue.
For this edition #26 of Les Jeudis de La Retail Tech, we wanted to poll them to find out their priority expectations of stores in terms of purchasing power.
Here are the main findings.
71% of French people would like AI to improve their shopping experience, whether online or in-store.
Priority expectations include:
- Knowing product availability in real time (34%)
- Reduce search time (29%)
- Receive personalized promotions (29%)
64% would like to see at least one AI-based service appear in-store, including:
- Automatic price comparators or real-time reviews (39%)
- Virtual mirrors or fittings (21%)
- Real-time personalization options (20%)
Finally, 92% of French people express at least one fear, notably the disappearance of human contact(69%) and excessive use of their personal data(56%).
